NXP i.MX 6UltraLite Processor

i.MX 6UltraLite Processor - Low-power, secure, ARM® Cortex®-A7 Core

Expanding the i.MX 6 series, the i.MX 6UltraLite is a high performance, ultra-efficient processor family featuring an advanced implementation of a single ARM® Cortex®-A7 core, which operates at speeds up to 528 MHz. The i.MX 6UltraLite applications processor includes an integrated power management module that reduces the complexity of external power supply and simplifies power sequencing. Each processor in this family provides various memory interfaces, including 16-bit LPDDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, raw and managed NAND flash, NOR flash, eMMC, Quad SPI and a wide range of other interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth™, GPS, displays and camera sensors.

i.MX 6UltraLite Evaluation Kit

i.MX 6UltraLite Evaluation Kit

Freescale delivers a highly flexible, market-focused development tools with an evaluation kit (EVK) based on the i.MX 6UltraLite applications processor. The i.MX 6UltraLite processor is the first device in the i.MX product line to have a single ARM® Cortex®-A7 core operating at speeds of up to 528 MHz. This EVK enables an LCD display and audio playback as well as many connectivity options. It is designed to showcase the most commonly used features of the processor in a small, low cost package and to facilitate software development with the ultimate goal of faster time to market through the support of the Linux® operating system. A footprint is also available to enable an HDMI display.

NOTE: The evaluation kit does not contain the power supply, microSD card or USB to micro cable. These will need to be procured separately. The power supply should be: Output: 5V/3.5A, Plug: 2.1mmx5.5mm.
