The Freescale Freedom Development Platform

Freescale's Freedom development platforms are small, low-power, cost-effective evaluation and development systems perfect for quick application prototyping and demonstration of Kinetis MCU families. The platforms offer an easy-to-use mass-storage device mode flash programmer, a virtual serial port, and classic programming and run-control capabilities.

  • The FRDM-KL05Z Freedom development platform is an ultra-low cost development platform, enabled by the Kinetis L series KL0x MCU family and built on the ARM® Cortex®™-M0+ processor.

  • FRDM-KL25Z Freedom development platform is also an ultra-low cost development platform enabled by the Kinetis L series KL1x and KL2x MCU families and built on the ARM Cortex-M0+ processor.

  • The FRDM-KL02Z is an ultra-low-cost development platform enabled by the Kinetis L series KL02 MCU family and built on the ARM Cortex-M0+ processor.

  • The FRDM-KL02Z is an ultra-low-cost development platform enabled by the Kinetis L series KL02 MCU family and built on the ARM Cortex-M0+ processor.
