Online Ordering on the Avnet EMEA Store
For ordering online on the store, you will need to have an online account. You can register on the site and place orders with credit card payment immediately.
If you are already a customer of Avnet Abacus, Avnet Silica or EBV Elektronik, you can ask for a terms account by contacting the Online Support Team at 00800 412 412 11.
Forgot your Login Information
If you are having trouble logging in, click on "Forgot Password" and a new password will be sent to the email address you registered with. Please check your email and log in with the new password. If you are still unable to login, please contact one of our Online Support Team representatives at 00800 412 412 11.
Edit your Information
Edit profile allows you to update your online account profile. Edit profile is located in the left menu on the dashboard under MyAvnet.
Searching For Parts
To search for product or information enter a part number, keyword, or technical attribute in the search box or browse for parts by selecting a category in the product tab on the main navigation. You can limit the search results to different areas, for example products or documents by clicking on the drop down menu in front of the search box.
Upload Bill of Materials (BOM)
Uploading a BOM is a great idea when you want to find product information including price and availability on lots of parts at one time. Once you have uploaded your BOM you have the option to save and name your BOM or download your BOM worksheet.
Ordering on the Avnet EMEA Online Store is quick and easy. As soon as you have placed all items you want to purchase in the shopping cart, click the “Checkout” button in the shopping cart.
You can create a new shopping cart by clicking on the "Buy Now" button or selecting "Add to Cart". To access an existing cart, click on the shopping cart link located at the top of the page in the header. If you would like to save a cart, select "Add to BOM". Existing shopping carts or BOMs will be updated with any new price changes upon logging in.
Please not that you need to be registered and signed in to the store to place an order.
Three easy steps to place an order
1. Shipping Address
Please provide the address where the goods will be shipped to. For credit card orders, billing- and shipping address country needs to be the same.

Shipping and Handling Fees
No Handling Charges will be applied to web orders. Freight charges apply during checkout process for credit card orders, on all orders placed with a terms account, freight charges will apply as per the terms account conditions. Customers may elect to Ship Complete by selecting, "Ship the entire order when all items are available".
Credit card orders will be shipped by Avnet standard carrier via standard shipment. There is no express shipment available at the moment.
For all orders in the European Union, a valid VAT number for the billing/invoice address is required. You will not be able to checkout without a valid VAT number. Please note that it must be the VAT number of the company that gets invoiced.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you would like to use your Avnet Abacus, Avnet Memec |Silica or EBV Elektronik terms account online, please contact your sales representative to become a sponsored user. If you do not know your sales representative, please contact the Online Support Team at 00800 412 412 11.
Customers placing orders online will receive two types of email notifications. The website will send a notification that your order has been received. Once the web order has shipped, a Shipping Notification will be sent out. Any parts on your order that did not ship will generate a separate Shipping Notification upon shipment.
To obtain order status on orders placed on the web, you must be a registered customer and signed in to the website. To obtain order status on all orders placed with your Avnet Abacus, Avnet Memec | Silica or EBV Elektronik accounts, you will need to request access as to your terms account. Accessing order status, will allow you to search by: customer purchase order number, manufacturer part number, customer part number (terms account only), or all purchase orders.
Please note that there may be some delay in displaying order status on international orders during the Export Compliance review process. For assistance, please contact the Online Support Team at 00800 412 412 11.
To track packages or obtain a waybill number navigate to the Orders section of the Dashboard under My Avnet. If the order was shipped via UPS or FedEx, click the waybill number in order to view the delivery status of your order via the UPS or FEDEX website. Please note, that it may take a while until the tracking information will be available online.
How to cancel an order
If you would like to cancel an order that you place online, please contact the Online Support Team at 00800 412 412 11. For any other orders contact your Account Manager or Sales & Marketing Representative.
In the case of damaged products or wrong shipments, please contact the Online Support Team at 00800 412 412 11. Please note that you may return products to Avnet only with a return material authorization ("RMA") number issued by Avnet.

Here are some common steps to handle display issues when viewing the site with the Firefox browser.
Page Styles Disable:
Check that your page style is set to "No Style" this allows Firefox to use the default page style. To do this click "View Menu" on the Firefox window menu bar, then select "Page Style", then click "Basic Page Style".
Old Version Cached:
Firefox caches websites by saving files on your machine to prevent re-downloading all data when you visit the site. If the site code has been updated, Firefox may still be using the old code along with some of the new code causing the site to display incorrectly. To correct this you will need to clear the cache.
- At the top of the Firefox window menu bar, click on the Tools menu, then select "Clear Private Data".
- Uncheck everything except the checkbox for cache.
- Click "Clear Private Data" now and try the web function again.
Page Zoom In/Out:
Some pages may not display correctly at different zoom levels. To reset the zoom setting, click on the "View Menu", select "Zoom" and then select "Reset".
Minimum Font Size Set:
If the site does not display properly with a minimum font size, reset the minimum font size:
- At the top of the Firefox window menu bar, click on the tools Firefox edit menu, and select "Options".
- Select "Preferences" to see content panel.
- In the "Fonts & Colors" section click "Clear Private Data now" and try the web function again.
